And what’s more, are you up for learning another piece of exciting news? The founder of Vipe Studio Ivan Popov will be a speaker at the event and he has prepped a truly interesting and inspiring topic!
Vipe Studio’s team is indeed ecstatic when it comes to WordCamp – after last year’s ever-so-successful conference, this time we head south and are impatient to discover what the organizers have prepared. We have no doubt that it will be worth the wait – we are so happy that all WordPress events are back on track with live sessions because all fellow community members can have the opportunity to meet professionals, experts and like-minded individuals.

If you want to learn more about the schedule of Athens’s WordCamp, as well as additional details about Ivan’s lecture, keep on reading – we promise we’ll boost your mood and energy levels so you can prepare yourself properly for the upcoming event in Greece. And until then all we can do is advise you to create your packing list and start organizing your trip!
As we’ve already mentioned, WordCamp Europe 2023 is taking place on the 8-10 June in Athens, Greece. The exact location is also well-known – we’re welcoming you in the modern and multifunctional international conference center “Megaron” with a capacity of over 6000 people in close proximity to memorable architectural sightseeing locations.
On the 8th of June, everyone’s favorite Contributor Day is going to give WordPress enthusiasts and professionals the chance to participate in plenty of social activities and educate themselves on different ways to support the WordPress community and its development both in Europe and worldwide.
On the 9th and 10th of June, we’ll witness the essence of WordCamp Europe 2023 – two days filled with lectures and talks from established professionals in the field, who with great pleasure will share with the audience their knowledge, experience and priceless know-how – a doorway for everyone willing to enter the world of everyone’s favorite CMS. Of course, the long-awaited after-parties are worth mentioning – two of them will end each of the lecture days.
After being selected as a speaker at last year’s event, this year our founder Ivan Popov is again hitting the stage of WordCamp Europe to present to the audience yet another extremely interesting and important topic.

In Porto, Ivan spoke about the future of headless technology when it comes to enterprise WordPress websites, as well as the enhanced performance, scalability and security that come from integrating this approach. Again in Porto, Ivan got inspired by Matt Mullenweg’s remark of Gutenberg shaping the future of WordPress – and that’s how the idea for this year’s topic was born: “How to build any block-driven homepage/mobile app layout using WordPress’s Gutenberg editor via REST-API and Graph QL”.
In his talk, Ivan will touch upon important aspects such as:
In his lecture, Ivan definitely turns Gutenberg into the star of the event – with his help the audience will discover that Gutenberg’s possibilities surpass those of WordPress and that going for a headless approach allows entirely new horizons of work and development.
Vipe Studio’s team we’ll be waiting for you in the “Megaron” conference center so we can all enjoy three days filled with important information, great mood and willingness to keep on moving forward.
We guarantee that Ivan’s lecture (and those of all other speakers) will be worth the attention – we can’t wait to learn from the best in the industry and get inspired for our future professional endeavors. Save the dates – and we’ll see you there!
