Viptor Says: New Blogging Reminders Feature in the WordPress mobile apps
READING TIME: MIN
Hello from your fellow blogger and avid WordPress user – Viptor! Today, my friends from our WordPress Agency for Development and I will be sharing with you some really cool news from the WordPress world. So, what’s new and exciting?
Well, my favorite content management system (CMS) – WordPress – just brought a very handy new feature to the table. I want to introduce you to the all-new Blogging Reminders that are now available on the WordPress mobile apps for iOS and Android. Let’s see how this can make a positive difference for your WordPress website development.
Reminders Are Important for Building a Blogging Habit
Have you ever set posting goals for your WordPress blog? I’ve done it and unfortunately, I admit I have failed to meet those goals not once or twice. Keeping your blog regularly updated is very important because the more content you put out, the more engaged will your readers be. Furthermore, consistent writing will improve your creative thinking and will help you to become a true master of the quill (or keyboard).
However, making blogging a regular habit is not such an easy task. Frankly speaking, making anything a regular habit is a tough job. This is why our WordPress development agency is very thankful for the new Blogging Reminders feature that WordPress is now offering to its users. The brand-new feature for the WordPress mobile apps will keep you on track and will act as your best blogging buddy – encouraging you to never give up on your WordPress journey.
I’m sure you care a lot for your WordPress blog and you have probably felt guilty at times for not keeping it up. This is exactly why I think Reminders are such a good idea. Most of us have busy day-to-day lives. Take me and the WordPress developers from Vipe Studio for example. I sometimes get so carried away with the interesting work we do at our WordPress Agency for Development that I often forget to blog about my experiences.
Thankfully, this will no longer be a problem because I’m already using the new WordPress Blogging Reminders feature and I’m loving it! So let me tell you a little bit more about it.
How to Use the New WordPress Blogging Reminders Feature
I as well as the WordPress developers from Vipe Studio think that the new feature is super simple and yet effective. All you need to do is pick your preferred days for blogging and a push notification will remind you to write your post. As you Earth people like to say – easy peasy lemon squeezy.
When you open the WordPress app on your mobile device, you will see a promotion for the new feature, available from version 17.7. Let me be your guide through the setup process:
- The first thing you should do is go to the My Site tab;
- Then, you should scroll down and tap on Site Settings;
- There, you’ll see Blogging Reminders under General;
- Finally, choose the days you want to write, and you’ll get reminders via push notifications.
And there you have it – your WordPress website development is now equipped with yet another cool and useful feature.
Make Blogging a Regular Habit!
Now that I’m already using the new Blogging Reminders feature on my WordPress mobile app, I will be sure to spread the word to all my fellow bloggers.
Our WordPress development agency always welcomes improvements that can contribute positively to the WordPress community.
I have to say “Bye for now!” because I just received a WordPress notification on my phone. It says “Viptor, it’s time to blog!”. If the WordPress developers from Vipe Studio start looking for me, tell them I’m busy blogging. So long, my friends!
